Last night Harper Church hosted an FIEC sponsored independence debate aimed at exploring the implications of independence for local churches and  for the gospel. The debate was between John Mason MSP for Yes Scotland and Murdo Fraser MSP for Better Together who are both committed Christians. It was an incredibly civil and well informed debate that got beyond many of the issues we hear debated on the TV and explored issues of faith and the impacts on the gospel.
